	I volunteer here every chance I can get. It's a rewarding experience for such a great service to the community. So many people do not have the money for food and this place is one of the best in providing families with MORE than enough to take home. One downside is that when I was working in the warehouse one day, going through bread, mice had been in it so they also waste a lot of food :(. Given the outside warehouse setting this is difficult to manage and the staff/volunteers are all very thorough in checking all the food before sending it home. Gleaners has a great staff, and allows you to see a different side of the community when you volunteer your time.
