BEST cheeseburger in town. the place is owned by a husband and wife and they do a phenomenal job of taking care of their customers! With fresh weekly specials and produce grown by local farmers, it's sure to be a great meal, for not a bad price!
there were so many things on the menu that i wanted to try. our server was really helpful and i look forward to going back and trying all of her recommendations. the mac 'n' cheese was so cheesy and it had some crunchiness on top that added a nice twist on an old favorite. and the blondie was so rich i had to split it between three different meals for dessert. yum!
dude... i love alcatraz for one reason. Naptown Brown. That meal is the most unique, most delicious plate I've had in Indy. A heart attack? Maybe. But awesome.
But yeah... their menu is kind of slim, but the beers are good!
for now, i'm rating this average because the one thing i really wanted to try (the hanger steak) i didn't spot on their menu, which was a little too hectic for me. in fact, i don't think there was a single thing on the menu that didn't contain some thing i was unfamiliar with and, since we sat in the bar, i couldn't really ask anyone about it. so, i had a grilled chicken crepe. good, not spectacular, and kind of a pain in the ass to eat.
